Understanding and respecting the need to evolve with mechanics and philosophies, we are constantly exposed to current trends through our Training Advisor, Chris, who charts the course for all of our umpire training and development programs

A MAC Florida Camp 2005 graduate, Chris began his professional career the following year, graduating from the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring in 2006. Currently, on the Triple-A International League staff, Chris also works in major league baseball as a call-up umpire. Worked his first major league game on April 14, 2014, between the A’s and Angels in Anaheim, CA. Entering the 2018 season has worked 384 major-league games.

Previously umpired in the Appalachian League (2006), South Atlantic League (2007), Carolina League (2008), Texas League (2008), Southern League (2009-10), Pacific Coast League (2011-15), and Arizona Fall League (2011)

Prior to joining our staff, Chris had already forged a reputation as a highly respected clinician – starting with the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Officials in 2006 and continuing with Professional Baseball Umpire School as an instructor, 2007-2012
