Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to the United Collegiate Umpires (UCU). This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that UCU collects, and the ways in which to UCU uses that personal information.

Every device connected to the Internet is given a set of numbers that serve as that device’s “Internet Protocol” address also known as its IP address. In cases where visitors access the Internet behind a router performing network address translation (NAT), the IP address is given to the router and not to the computer.

When a visitor requests a page within, our web servers automatically recognize that visitor’s IP address. The IP address reveals nothing personal about you other than the IP address from where you have accessed our site. UCU may now or in the future offer access to some services that are free but that require registration. We may use your registration and pre-registration contact information to send notification of UCU products and services by e-mail and/or postal mail.

We may also request your e-mail address or mailing address for the purposes of conducting a survey or to provide additional services such as subscriptions to e-mail newsletters, announcements, information about workshops and events, or other products and services. UCU will store all the personal information you provide on its secure servers.

Information that UCU collects may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which UCU operates to enable the use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy. You agree to such cross-border transfers of personal information.
